The deployment follows the Senate's failure to pass the CLARITY Act, which Fairshake frames as a direct response to the bill dying in the Democrat-controlled chamber. It is not Fairshake's first clash with Brown: in 2024 the group spent about $41 million on ads against him as Senate Banking Committee chairman.
