跨链资产协议 Universal Protocol 宣布关停，曾获 a16z 等投资
深潮 TechFlow 消息，9 月 20 日，Universal Protocol 宣布，因市场采用规模未达到长期可持续运营要求，将于 2026 年 11 月 17 日停止运营。在 60 天过渡期内，uAssets 仍由底层资产 1:1 支持，用户可通过 Universal 应用出售或赎回。协议停止后，Base 链上的 uSOL、uXRP、uDOGE、uADA、uBTC和 uLTC 计划通过智能合约兑换为对应桥接资产，其余 uAssets 将兑换为 USDC，最终方案将在停止运营前公布。Universal 曾于去年 2 月宣布完成 900 万美元融资，a16z Crypto 领投，Coinbase Ventures 等参与投资。

TechFlow, Sept 20 — Universal Protocol says adoption never reached levels needed for long-term sustainability and it will stop operating on Nov 17, 2026. During a 60-day transition uAssets remain 1:1 backed and can be sold or redeemed via the Universal app; after shutdown, uSOL, uXRP, uDOGE, uADA, uBTC and uLTC on Base are slated for conversion into corresponding bridged assets via smart contracts, with the rest converted to USDC. Final details will be published before the shutdown. Universal raised $9 million in February last year led by a16z Crypto with Coinbase Ventures participating.
