PANews, Sept 20 — Michael Saylor said the industry is better off advancing under supportive rules from the SEC, CFTC, Treasury and banking regulators than accepting the restrictions in the final CLARITY Act compromise. With a administration willing to modernize financial markets, he argued, the industry should use the next two years to ship cheaper, more accessible, more useful products at scale and build a broad public constituency. He criticized September's CLARITY compromise for capping rewards on payment stablecoins and adding restrictions on community-bank deposit migration, saying it would stifle competition and innovation.
