PANews Sep 15: Senate Democrats involved in the crypto market structure bill are preparing a counter-proposal to the Republicans' latest revised Clarity Act text, even though Republicans called it their 'last, best and final offer' when releasing it on Sep 13. Democrats met in Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's office on Sep 14, with some still dissatisfied with the crypto ethics provisions. Senator Mark Warner told Politico that Democrats who negotiated in good faith are sending a counter-proposal, hours before the Sep 15 key procedural vote that will decide whether the Senate can advance the bill to full floor debate.
