PANews Sep 15: CoinDesk reports that Senator Cynthia Lummis said Democrats remain unsatisfied with the final compromise text of the crypto market structure bill circulated by Senate Republicans over the weekend and keep asking for more changes. Lummis said Democrats always want more — wait another month and they will want more still; there is no end to it. She said the negotiations have already given Democrats a series of major concessions — she counted 114 individual policy concessions in the bill — the most important being the provision restricting government officials' personal business ties to the industry, aimed mainly at President Trump. She said she was surprised Trump agreed to a second round of ethics restrictions on himself and other officials. Lummis is unsure whether Tuesday's vote can reach the 60 votes needed to advance.
