PANews on Sep 10: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent posted urging the Senate to advance the CLARITY Act, saying it would build a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets and strengthen America's ability to stop misuse of the technology. With the Senate back from August recess, he called on all parties to stay at the table, agree to proceed to debate and move the bill forward, warning that failure would signal to allies and adversaries that the US won't lead the future of digital assets and would forfeit enhanced national-security tools against abuse.
