PANews on Sep 4: Reuters reports UK fintech Revolut received conditional OCC approval for a US national bank charter and plans a full banking launch in H1 2027. Revolut US CEO Cetin Duransoy said FDIC and Federal Reserve approvals are still needed. Revolut has 80 million customers globally; the bank will be based in Stamford, Connecticut with about $95 million of capital and an initial team of about 160, offering checking accounts, installment loans, credit cards, FX services and stablecoins. It won a French banking license last month and UK authorization in March.
