ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey said the 'loophole' on stablecoin rewards must be closed completely. The group says stablecoins could pull $1.3 trillion of deposits out of the banking system and cut local lending by $850 billion, with no sign crypto would redeploy those deposits into local communities.
