特朗普家族支持的 World Liberty Financial 获美国国家信托银行牌照初步批准
深潮 TechFlow 消息，8 月 24 日，据 Bloomberg 报道，特朗普家族支持的加密项目 World Liberty Financial 已获得美国货币监理署（OCC）对国家信托银行牌照的初步有条件批准，拟成立 World Liberty Trust Company。获最终批准后，该机构可直接发行和赎回稳定币 USD1，并管理其储备资产及提供数字资产托管服务。此次申请正值美国新银行牌照审批明显提速。OCC 数据显示，特朗普第二任期前 19 个月已批准 22 项银行牌照申请，超过此前 5 年总和，其中多家为金融科技及数字资产公司。World Liberty Trust Company 不属于传统商业银行，不能吸收受 FDIC 保险的存款或发放传统贷款。
Trump-backed World Liberty Financial wins preliminary approval for US national trust bank charter
TechFlow, Aug 24: Bloomberg reports the Trump-family-backed crypto project World Liberty Financial has received preliminary conditional approval from the OCC for a national trust bank charter, to form World Liberty Trust Company. Upon final approval it could directly issue and redeem the USD1 stablecoin, manage reserves and offer digital asset custody. OCC data shows 22 bank charters approved in the first 19 months of Trump's second term, more than the prior five years combined, many from fintech and digital asset firms. The trust company cannot take FDIC-insured deposits or make traditional loans.
