TechFlow, Aug 24: Security firm Salus detected a Google-sponsored ad for a fake Hyperliquid site that cost one user 550,000 USDC. Fund tracing shows professional 'wallet-drain-as-a-service' infrastructure closely tied to the Inferno ecosystem, with stolen funds auto-split 5%, 15% and 80% by the backend. The gang is linked to multiple phishing incidents totaling about $52.74 million in losses; evidence and high-risk addresses have been submitted to authorities.
