Trump told a Wednesday press conference with tech leaders and regulators that CFTC chair Michael Selig is working to bring perps platform Hyperliquid to the US in a fully compliant and legal way, per The Block. HYPE jumped over 20% in 24 hours on the news. Trump also urged lawmakers to pass the CLARITY Act, calling it strong structural legislation; the CFTC has already approved Bitcoin perpetual futures on Kalshi and Coinbase.
