White House senior crypto adviser Patrick Witt said at the SALT conference he is optimistic and bullish on the CLARITY Act despite ongoing disputes over stablecoin rewards and Trump's crypto conflicts, per The Block. The Senate majority leader has scheduled the cloture vote for Sept 15, and Witt said he will negotiate with Democrats for a reliable vote. Senate Banking Committee chair Tim Scott said the previously settled stablecoin rewards issue has resurfaced: 'we thought we had it solved, and now it's back.' On ethics provisions, Trump is weighing a new proposal letting state attorneys general enforce the clause.
