Wyoming's Stablecoin Commission migrated the state-issued Frontier stablecoin (FRNT) from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), making it the first US government entity to publicly replace blockchain infrastructure on security grounds, per CoinDesk. Executive director Anthony Apollo said a security review raised concerns about LayerZero's disclosure practices and operational security. The move comes four months after Kelp DAO lost $292M in a LayerZero bridge hack.
