Tokenization platform Securitize (SECZ) fell 20% after hours Wednesday as its first public earnings missed Wall Street estimates, with an EPS loss of $2.37 vs. an expected $0.15 loss, per CoinDesk. Q2 revenue was $14.4M (-5% YoY, below the $20.6M consensus). Despite record avg tokenized AUM of $4.3B and trading volume up 147% to $5.3B, revenue has yet to translate into profit. The firm listed via SPAC in July and provides tokenization infrastructure for BlackRock and others.
