Tokenized RWA deposits more than tripled YoY to $7.4B in Q2 while total deposits fell 15%
Per The Block, CoinShares and Token Terminal report that tokenized RWA deposits in lending platforms and DEXs grew from $2.3 billion in Q2 2025 to $7.4 billion in Q2 2026, more than tripling, while total DeFi deposits fell about 15% over the same period. Growth was driven mainly by traditional finance products — tokenized treasuries and multi-strategy funds (e.g. JTRSY, BlackRock BUIDL and sUSDS) — followed by private credit and delta-neutral strategies. DEX spot volume fell ~70%, but RWA volume grew ~220%, with gold tokens (XAUT and PAXG) holding a significant share.
