PANews 8 月 4 日消息，据 CoinDesk 报道，美国联邦调查局(FBI)高级情报官员 Patrick Steven Yarmoch 因涉嫌窃取约 100 万美元加密货币被捕。Yarmoch 持有“绝密”安全许可，在 FBI 总部反间谍部门担任主管特别探员，曾负责调查“敌对国”相关案件。 根据 8 月 1 日提交的法庭文件，Yarmoch 向 FBI 自首，称其从 FBI 系统中获取加密密钥，从被调查的外国个人账户中进行了约十几次转账至自己账户。他使用 Kraken 交易所和 Sui 生态 DeFi 平台 Suilend 及 Slush 钱包处理资产。

PANews Aug 4 — Per CoinDesk, senior FBI intelligence officer Patrick Steven Yarmoch was arrested for allegedly stealing about $1M in cryptocurrency. Yarmoch held top-secret clearance and served as a supervisory special agent in the FBI headquarters counterintelligence division. Per an Aug 1 court filing, Yarmoch surrendered to the FBI, admitting he obtained crypto keys from FBI systems and made about a dozen transfers from foreign individuals under investigation to his own accounts, using Kraken and Sui DeFi platforms Suilend and Slush wallet.
