PANews Aug 4 — Per GlobeNewswire, Hashdex will close and liquidate its bitcoin ETF (NYSE Arca: DEFI), which had about $14.7M AUM as of July 30. Hashdex cited AUM, trading liquidity, operating costs, investor interest and product-line positioning. The ETF's last trading day is Aug 17, after which it will stop accepting creation orders and delist from NYSE Arca; shareholders holding through the last day will receive cash liquidation distributions around Aug 28. Hashdex still manages over $200M in investable products for US investors.
