TechFlow, Aug 4 — Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said the CLARITY Act is bipartisan crypto regulation legislation aimed at establishing clear rules for the US crypto industry. He said that regardless of whether one supports or opposes crypto, there is broad agreement that clear regulation is needed to strengthen consumer protection, improve enforcement, and bring crypto under US oversight to reduce business outflow. Armstrong added the bill gives banks more authority to integrate stablecoins and crypto businesses, and that it would help cement the US as a financial and tech hub and drive economic growth, jobs and tax revenue.
